The 2026 F1 calendar is announced and features 24 rounds.
One new race has been added to the schedule in the Spanish capital Madrid. A new part-street circuit called the Madring will host the Spanish Grand Prix in September. The Circuit de Catalunya will host a second Spanish round earlier in the year.
While Spain gains a second race, Italy will lose its. The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix at Imola will not take place in 2026.
The sequence of races is largely unchanged from the previous season. However the Canadian Grand Prix will take place earlier in the year, following after the Miami Grand Prix.
In addition to the 24 grands prix, six sprint races will be held. The extra races, which are one-third of the distance of a grand prix, will take place at the rounds in Shanghai, Miami, Montreal, Silverstone, Zandvoort and Singapore.
