The 3rd Duke of Richmond was match-racing his horses with the King and their friends at Goodwood more than 200 years ago and the heritage of excellent sport and glamorous entertainment lives on. At the five-day July Festival, previously known as Glorious Goodwood, all the elements of a great event collide; it’s the glamour of top class racing mixed with the outstanding beauty of the racecourse, set high up on the Downs, and the famously stylish dress code that makes the Qatar Goodwood Festival unquestionably the chicest invitation of the summer’s social and racing calendar.

The Secret Garden -A fabulous garden bedecked with wild English flowers, this award-winning wonderland is an enchanting space located in an excellent position just beyond the winning post and also The Final Furlong – to get up close to all the action, the Final Furlong is the perfect choice. Guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the climatic stages of each race.

The Final Furlong is located in our Gordon Enclosure and provides easy access to all areas of this enclosure. Guests enjoy stunning views of the Sussex Downs and all the course action as the finest equine talent in the world thunders past. This light and airy course-side restaurant provides a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a delicious buffet menu, and unlimited drinks throughout the day. This exclusive space allows you excellent views of all the horses as they prepare to step out onto the world’s most beautiful racecourse.
