Aintree Racecourse is known to millions worldwide as the home of the John Smith’s Grand National – The World’s Greatest Steeplechase. The Grand National Meeting is now established as one of the great racing festivals. In early April each year, the world and its media descend upon Aintree Racecourse for three of the biggest days in the British sporting and social calendar, The Grand National, which in 2025 will take place from Thursday 10th – Saturday 12th April.
A British sporting institution, the Grand National attracts over 154,000 racegoers for three days like no other, which includes Grand Opening Day, Ladies Day and of course Grand National Day.
The tape rises and the crowds begin to roar as punters eagerly watch another chapter unfold in the history of the Grand National Meeting.
